Tradebank Opens Its Doors to Bartering in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (May 22, 2009) Tradebank International Inc. (Tradebank) is pleased to announce the opening of its newest region: Indianapolis, Indiana. Tradebank of Indianapolis joins the growing franchise that spans 70+ regions in the U.S. and internationally, with more than 11,000 members who are bartering their products and services for trade dollars. This announcement was made by Todd Gerry, President of Franchising for Tradebank International Franchising Corporation.
The regional owners of Tradebank of Indianapolis are Lavonda Henry and Charlene Lawrence. Both are veterans of barter, having been business partners together in a previous barter venture and most recently as broker and regional sales director, respectively, at the Tradebank of Louisville office in Kentucky. “Our focus will be on customer service and helping businesses use their accumulated trade dollars to reserve cash flow and increase lifestyles and profits,” stated Henry, who also has a 20-year background in retail management.
“Since we live and work in our new Tradebank territory, we offer a local presence,” added Lawrence, “and are looking forward to enhancing local commerce through barter.” Tradebank of Indianapolis will service businesses within eight counties: Marion, Hamilton, Boone, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Rush and Shelby. First on their list of prospects: hotels, restaurants, printing services, advertising mediums, and a commercial property to set up their Tradebank office in.
“Indianapolis is a prime market and one that we have been targeting for quite some time. We are excited to offer barter opportunities to businesses in Indianapolis as we continue our expansion into the Northern corridor,” stated Gerry.
