LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (August 27, 2012) — Tradebank International Inc. (Tradebank) celebrates its 25th year of offering businesses exceptional barter experiences. The company’s longevity can be attributed to its continuous and sustained growth of new clients and trade volume lead by a dedicated staff. Tradebank is an International trade network that assists companies across a variety of industries to increase sales and conserve cash while still obtaining the products and services they need to run their business.

John P. Davis, president and CEO of Tradebank, is considered a pioneer of the modern barter industry and founded the company in 1987 with 258 businesses in the metro Atlanta market. Today, Tradebank has over 70 outlets servicing thousands of clients in the U.S. and Canada. Purchasing volume alone has reached to over T$40 million annually.

“I’m passionate about barter,” said Davis. “I have seen how it positively influences business performance and the personal lives of business owners as well as their employees. Tradebank’s biggest contribution, however, may be in its ability to help non-profit organizations — especially in times of great need.” Members of Tradebank have donated time, services and trade dollars to help people during catastrophic events and support local community organizations by utilizing donated T$ and saving cash.

Tradebank is prepared to thrive for another 25 years. Growth includes:

  • Expansion of key markets with the focus on previously undeveloped regions of the U.S. such as the Northeast and West Coast
  • Enhanced software and technology
  • Providing value added benefits through the foundation of new divisions and the implementation of new financial products

“Over the past 25 years, Tradebank has built a vast trading network comprised of thousands of business owners throughout North America,” stated Todd Gerry, senior vice president of marketing for Tradebank. “Many of those founding clients, while now second or third generation, are still a part of the organization today as they fully understand the impact that barter, and Tradebank, can make to their bottom line profits. Of course, none of this success would be possible without the dedication and experience of our franchisees and their staff. We have amassed some world-class talent that share our passion and vision for the barter industry.”
